Vintage KitchenAid Hobart 2 Quart, Model 3C Ice Cream Freezer "3C-CF" - XRARE; circa early 1950s. It is ready for immediate food use. Attachment is in excellent working condition and looks incredible for its age including original factory paint finish. Some of the tin plating has worn off from use and there is some light oxidation on the steel rings. All original parts are included. Original box also included but it quite worn. Mixer shown in pictures is not part of this listing. This 2 quart CF ice cream freezer attachment was manufactured by Hobart for KitchenAid in the early 1950s. It is the second generation ice cream freezer.
All of the original pieces and parts are included. A copy of the original use and care instructions are also included as well as the original box with label.
In just 13 minutes, you can churn and freeze 2 quarts of home made ice cream using this attachment with ice and rock salt. This attachment is designed to work on the KitchenAid Model 3A, 3B, 3C and 4C mixers. However, it will work with most any model KitchenAid stand mixer so long as you put a hard cover book or some other prop under the bucket to bring the drive rob up to the height of the mixer attachment hub. They are rare and hard to come by especially one is this condition.
